Proven track record selling in the federal, life sciences, or data centers markets required.
Must be proficient in developing account strategies and business plans to identify and secure business with existing and targeted accounts.
The selected Business Development Manager will be self-directed, and also work well in team environments.
You'll enjoy the support of a terrific operations team to assist with the technical applications you identify with your prospects.
Compensation commensurate with experience in the $115,000 base range, plus excellent incentive program.
Primary Responsibilities:
Cultivate relationships with decision makers to secure HVAC Controls/Building Automation and bundled energy solutions projects.
Develop account strategies and business plans to identify and secure business with existing and targeted accounts.
Meet directly with customers to establish needs and drive the overall sales process.
Work with Operations personnel to execute growth, development, sales and marketing of all DDC controls and related energy management offerings such as lighting upgrades.
Create market awareness for company through networking, cold calling, presentations, and attendance at local trade association meetings.
Work strategically on targeted owner direct and new construction projects with various stake holders.
Take a leadership role in driving business in assigned vertical market(s).
Craft and submit professional written bids and proposals within established deadlines.
Effectively demonstrate formal strategic selling or other type of professional sales training to develop new business.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills required.
